Sergeant Fine has worked for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office since 2007. He started as a Corrections Deputy and worked in every facility before transferring to the Patrol Bureau.
While in Patrol, he was assigned to West District and soon became a Field Training Officer. Sergeant Fine then became a detective in West District’s Criminal Investigations Unit, followed by the Robbery Unit and the Violent Crimes Unit.
Sergeant Fine was promoted to Sergeant in January 2020. He was assigned to South District Patrol and then the Bonita Springs Community Policing Unit, prior to returning to West District and supervising the Criminal Investigations Division. Sergeant Fine is currently assigned to the Public Information Office and has been a member of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard for the past seven years.
Sergeant Fine is a lifelong Lee County resident attending Estero High School and Florida Gulf Coast University.
