This morning, the Lee County Board of County Commissioners recognized Sheriff Carmine Marceno and his team for their heroic actions that took place at the Bank of America in Fort Myers. Each Commissioner personally thanked the Sheriff in open forum on all the things he has done to keep the great residents of Lee County safe. The IAI (International Association for Identification) Certification Program was established to provide a program of certification in the profession of forensic identification, investigation, and scientific examination of physical evidence. The IAI is the oldest and largest forensic association in the world. This is what all crime scene technicians should strive for obtaining, and is the most recognized certification they can obtain. Before being eligible to apply, one must have taken and successfully passed 240 hours of classwork studies and have three years of working crime scene experience, which Randy has successfully done! TWO ARRESTED IN EAST LEE COUNTY BEASTIALITY INVESTIGATION“I am disgusted by the actions of these two East Lee County residents. I will not tolerate any kind of abuse in Lee County,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “I stand by my guarantee to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and put criminals behind bars,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno.On Friday, February 15th, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a North Fort Myers husband & wife involved in sexually assaulting house-hold pets.Detectives learned that 26-year-old Samantha White had sexual intercourse with the family dog multiple times.Her husband, 29-year-old John White recorded her engaging in the sex acts.Samantha White was arrested for sexual activities involving animals.John White was arrested for filming pornographic images or videos of a person and an animal engaged in sexual activity.Lee County Domestic Animal Services removed four dogs from the home and evaluated them for injuries.They are safe and being cared for at LCDAS.The investigation is still ongoing. ...
