The News-Press (Fort Myers and Cape Coral) we are absolutely allowing donations through to Pine Island. We have even coordinated to have several Publix trucks deliver to the island. Access through Matlacha was being prohibited due to the collapsed roadway. We are not prohibiting donations, supplies are being coordinated by other agencies such as FEMA.
