The Lee County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit has 22 dogs from different breeds including German Shepards, Belgian Malinois, Labrador Retrievers, Bloodhounds and Golden Retrievers.

Several times a week, these dogs train in our training facility located next to the Lee County Gun Range. These impressive partners assist handlers in their duties through their special skillset. In addition to tracking and apprehending suspects, these K-9’s are experts in firearms, explosives, and narcotics detection.
