LCSO Patrol and Gang/Intel/FSU units work together during drug bust
On Saturday, September 7, 2019, East District deputies responded to a disturbance at the 700 block of Willow Drive in Lehigh Acres, Florida. The female caller whispered to the 911 dispatcher that her life was being threatened and asked that the responding deputies hurry to her location.
Deputies made contact with several occupants and observed several narcotics in plain view, as well as, evidence of manufacturing crack cocaine. Due to their training and experience, deputies immediately requested the assistance of the Gang/Intel and Field Support Units. The scared female caller was also located and was unharmed.
Detectives authored a search warrant, which was the approved and executed. A search of the residence revealed a Jimenez 22 pistol, a Taurus 9mm pistol with the serial numbers scratched, 1.2 grams of methamphetamine, 3.4 grams of cocaine, and 4.8 grams of marijuana.
At the conclusion of this investigation, Robert Elrod, DOB 2/28/83 was arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to manufacture. Violent offender William Easley, DOB 5/18/97 was arrested for possession of a firearm by convicted felon/gang member and possession of a firearm with altered serial number.
