 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post #18 is a career exploration program, hosted through Learning for Life, for boys and girls ages 14 through 21 whom express interest in a career with Law Enforcement. Explorers shadow Deputies to receive training, experience, and general knowledge, in the several aspects involved with a career in Law Enforcement. If you are interested in becoming a part of this magnificent program, attend our next meeting where you will be provided with all of the information to get you started.

  • Ride-A-Longs (Traffic, Marine, and Aviation) and Hand’s On Training
  • Communications and Traffic Control
  • Radio and Computer Usage
  • Community policing projects (child finger-printing, child safety programs, and crime prevention.)

  • State Competitions and Boot Camps
  • Pistol Team
