Captain Adam Sedwick
Captain Adam Sedwick began his career with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in 1997 as a patrol deputy in South District, before being promoted to Criminal Investigation Detective and then Criminal Investigation Sergeant in East District.
From there, Captain Sedwick returned to South District where he achieved the rank of lieutenant and assumed the role of Assistant District Commander and Bonita Springs Community Policing Lieutenant.
As a captain, he has held positions in Internal Affairs and with the Watch Commander Unit.
Captain Sedwick is currently Commander of the Civil Unit.
Captain Sedwick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in History from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
