Victims are receiving calls from scammers stating they have a warrant for their arrest, and need to pay a fine. We will never contact you to request funds. If you witness this scam, or are a potential victim, call the fraud line at 239-258-3292.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Unit is on scene executing a search warrant in the 800blk of Jaguar Blvd in Lehigh Acres.
One person is detained at this time.
There is no threat to the public or the surrounding area.
🚨TRAFFIC ADVISORY🚨
LCSO is working a 3 vehicle crash with injuries at Paul J Dougherty / Gateway. 2 lanes closed WB and a turning lane. Please seek alternate routes for the time being.
Atound 7:45pm last night, deputies responded to Smoke N Vape, 24 Homestead Rd N, Lehigh Acres regarding a robbery. A masked suspect entered the business and demanded cash. There were no injuries to employees or patrons. The suspect fled the business on foot.
