The person that was shot, and a second person injured by flying glass, have both signed waivers of prosecution...indicating they do not intend to cooperate with the investigation.

An early morning shooting in the parking lot of a Fort Myers hookah lounge sent one person to the hospital.

Deputies were on an unrelated investigation in the area of the Lions Hookah Lounge, 9300 Cloverleaf Court, Fort Myers, when shots rang out in the lounge parking lot shortly after 3:30 a.m.  One person, a female, was struck.  She was brought to a local hospital where she was treated and later released.
