Convenience Store Targeted in Early Morning Robbery

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying two men who robbed a North Fort Myers 7-Eleven store in North Fort Myers early this morning.

Just after 12:30 a.m., two men, both fully covered with clothing and masks, entered the 7-Eleven, located at 15999 N. Cleveland Avenue.  The men quickly approached the cash register and pepper sprayed the clerk.  They then removed the cash and fled on foot, possibly to a vehicle which may have been waiting nearby.

Anyone who was in that area early this morning who may have seen suspicious looking individuals, or who may have witnessed these men coming into or leaving the store, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at or by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app.
