Joint Agency Effort Intercepts Drug Parcel, Leads to Arrests

On November 24, The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Highway Interdiction Unit and Department of Homeland Security concluded a joint investigation regarding a suspicious package bound for Lee County. 

The package contained abnormalities and raised concerns to detectives when inspected. Subsequent testing identified the contents of the parcel as Cocaine. 

An investigation by detectives led to the arrest of three individuals. Brian Keith Davis, Jr. (B/M DOB 06-24-1985) along with Corrie Evert Kelty (B/M DOB 10-09-1976) both residing in Lehigh Acres and Benjamin Jamaine (B/M DOB 12/16/1980) who resides in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Corrie Kelty is in LCSO custody and charged with Cocaine Trafficking (28 grams less than 150 KG) and a Public Order Crime (using two-way communication device to facilitate commission of a felony).

Brian Davis is currently in LCSO custody charged with Cocaine Trafficking (28 grams less than 150 KG) and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.

Benjamin Jamaine is also in LCSO custody and has been charged with Cocaine Trafficking (28 grams less than 150 KG), Marijuana Possession and a Public Order Crime (using two-way communication device to facilitate commission of a felony).
