Highway Interdiction Investigation Leads to Arrest
On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Highway Interdiction Unit conducted an investigation at a residence located at 1706 SW 10th Place, Cape Coral.
A search warrant was executed at the residence. Located inside the home were 8 pounds of marijuana, $3,510 in currency, electronic money counter, vacuum sealer, and a 9mm handgun.
During the investigation, a suspect was located and interviewed. Detectives found probable cause to charge Carmen Marchione, date of birth 9/23/1989 with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and smuggling marijuana into the state.
