Major Bobby Johnson

Major Bob Johnson started with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in 1983 as a Correctional Officer. In 1990 he transferred to Road Patrol and over the years, as he worked up the rank structure, he worked in Property Crimes, Major Crimes, Internal Affairs, Undercover Drug Task Force (C.L.E.A.N.), Training Division, Corrections Investigations Division, Special Investigations Division, and finally coming full circle as Major over the Patrol Bureau.

Bob attended the 231st Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico Virginia in 2007.
Bob has a Bachelors degree in Business Management as well as a Masters degree in Criminal Justice.
Bob has also been an adjunct instructor at the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy since 1988.
 Bob has been married almost 30 years to his beautiful wife Ann, and has two grown children, Beth and Chris.
