Video Production Specialist
Salary Range: $30,257.00 - $52,000.00

The Video Production Specialist is a civilian position within the video Production Unit.
The Video Unit is responsible for handling the audio and visual needs of the
Lee County Sheriffs Office.
This includes the collection, forensic processing and analysis of
security surveillance video recordings and major crime scenes. Other duties include recording, production, and duplication of training videos and similar aids, video and audio records of evidence in criminal cases and videotaping of Field Sobriety Exercises at
Applicants should possess skills in field and studio productions,
editing and graphic designs and utilizing linear and non-linear editing equipment.
Proficiency in the operation of broadcast quality video cameras and recorders is essential.
A strong emphasis on videoraphy skills is desired. Scene and studio lighting techniques are also required. Script writing and project conception is an integral part of this position.
Desired Job Experience:
Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years working for a television station or private production facility or similar experience while in the military or at another
public service agency.
Applicant should be familiar with video and audio production techniques and must possess basic computer and word processing skills.
College degree in broadcasting is preferred, but not required.
