Crime Prevention Practitioner
Salary Range: $28,664.00 - $54,080.00
Hours per Week: 40 (Full-time)

A Crime Prevention Practitioner specializes in developing programs geared toward prevention of crime in all segments of the community. Days/Hours of position are varied, to include nights and weekends.
Applicant must have above average computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Spillman.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills (including public speaking and media interviews).
Must have strong inter-personal skills.
Must be self motivated and able to manage time effectively.
Preference will be given to applicants that currently possess a Florida Crime Prevention Certification.
Must have a U.S. high school diploma or equivalent as recognized by the State of Florida.
If selected, applicant will be required to successfully receive a Florida Crime Prevention Certification within 12 months of selection date (applicant will be sent at agency expense) and successfully pass Crime Prevention FTO.

Minimum Physical Requirements:
Bend, squat, lift, stand and sit for long periods. Vision or corrected vision to allow for reading computer screens, typing, documents, etc, hearing or corrected hearing to allow for receiving information for accuracy.
