Computer Programmer I
Starting Salary: $35,156.00
Hours per Week: 40 (Full-time)
The computer programmer will be responsible for a wide range of duties that includes data processing; hardware and software design, development and implementation; systems maintenance; and timely creation of standard reports and ad-hoc requests. The computer programmer also will analyze hardware, software, IT services and related policies and procedures, and recommend and implement solutions as needed. The computer programmer will monitor implemented solutions to determine their efficiency and make continuous improvements. Other tasks include development of cost benefit comparisons, business or customer requirement assessments and information technology alternatives. The computer programmer also will develop IT project specifications and research emerging IT trends and solutions.
A Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of proven experience in IT business or related field. Applicant must have strong background in IT business and must have an understanding of how large applications work, not just the user interface but the complete infrastructure understanding; database, interfaces, routing and business rules. Applicant must be a self-starter, work well in a team environment and must maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Must have exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent problem solving skills. Must have exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create and maintain documentation for software and processes. Presentation and report making skills a must.
Desired Job Experience:
At least 5 years of proven experience in IT Business or related field.
Master's Degree in Technology or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be a legal citizen/alien resident of the United States
