On Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 11:46 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance on the 5400 block of 10th Avenue in the Pine Manor Community of Fort Myers.
The investigation revealed there had been an altercation at that location and one person had sustained injuries. That individual was located at the hospital where he later died.
Due to the nature of the incident, detectives with the Major Crimes Unit of the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to investigate. The preliminary investigation indicates this appears to be a domestic incident.
The deceased has been identified as Da’Wuan Williams (DOB: 11/30/1989).
