Business & Retail Crime Awareness Seminar

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the South American Theft Group Intelligence Network and Keiser University invite business owners and members in the retail and loss prevention industries to attend critical training at the “Business and Retail Crime Awareness Seminar 2017”.  Expert speakers will share the newest information on cyber security risks, credit card fraud, and other serious issues beneficial to employees, customers and stakeholders. Topics & speakers include:

  • Beyond the traffic stop: Learn to identify counterfeit credit cards, gift cards & fraudulent checks
  • How to plan for workplace violence and/or an active shooter situation
  • Stealing from your bottom line: Traveling gypsies (thieves) & the crimes they commit
  • Business security risks: Cybersecurity & Data Breaches
