Lee County sheriff's detectives hope someone can identify the woman who pulled off an armed robbery this afternoon in Bonita Springs.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. on March 27, 2014, deputies were called to the La Fiesta convenience store located at 10530 Rosemary Drive. The store clerk says the suspect, a female armed with a handgun, walked up to the counter and handed over a note demanding money. The clerk complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. As seen on the surveillance video, the suspect then quickly leaves the store and climbs into a gray four-door sedan with an unknown number of occupants. The car left the scene heading northbound onto Old U.S. 41.
The suspect is described as a white female, likely in her twenties. She has long, blonde hair that was tucked into the cap she was wearing. She had on sunglasses and was wearing a sweatshirt and black or dark navy pants. She was also wearing what appeared to be white cotton gloves.
