Detectives Release Surveillance Video of Armed Robbery
Thursday, March 27, 2014

Lee County sheriff's detectives hope someone can identify the woman who pulled off an armed robbery this afternoon in Bonita Springs.

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on March 27, 2014, deputies were called to the La Fiesta convenience store located at 10530 Rosemary Drive.  The store clerk says the suspect, a female armed with a handgun, walked up to the counter and handed over a note demanding money.  The clerk complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.  As seen on the surveillance video, the suspect then quickly leaves the store and climbs into a gray four-door sedan with an unknown number of occupants.  The car left the scene heading northbound onto Old U.S. 41.

The suspect is described as a white female, likely in her twenties.  She has long, blonde hair that was tucked into the cap she was wearing.  She had on sunglasses and was wearing a sweatshirt and black or dark navy pants. She was also wearing what appeared to be white cotton gloves.

If you can identify this suspect or know anything about this afternoon's armed robbery of the La Fiesta, call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at (239) 477-1000.  Or, to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000, call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.  Anonymous tips may also be made online at, through the TipSubmit app on any iPhone or by texting CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.

The store owner is also offering an additional $1,000 reward, on top of the Crime Stoppers reward, for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
