Waffle House Target Of Early Morning Robbery

Lee County deputies are on the hunt for two men that robbed a Waffle House just after 5 am this morning.

On February 16, 2014 at 5:23 am , deputies responded to the Waffle House  located at 4050 Boatways Road, Fort Myers, in reference to a just occurred robbery.

According to the employees, two men entered the store wearing masks. The suspects pointed guns at the employees and patrons and demanded money. They received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot. No one was injured.

Due to the nature of this incident, detectives with the Robbery/Auto Theft Unit responded to assume the investigation.

The suspects are described as thin, black males; one was wearing jeans, a black shirt with a black ski mask on. The other was wearing dark colored pants, a maroon shirt with a black ski mask.
