Identity Sought in Late Night Fence Cutting Duo

On November 12, 2013, at approximately at 7:10 am, the Lee County Sheriffs Office responded to a grand theft at Cougar Cutting located at 6391 Arc Way in Fort Myers.

Due to the nature of the crime detectives with Echo District Criminal Investigation Division assumed the investigation.

The preliminary investigation revealed that when the victim arrived to work and noticed a hole in the fence. Employees secured the truck and the compound at 8:15 pm the night before. Upon further inspection he discovered the lock was cut off the side door of a Ford F-650 Truck resulting in the theft of various tools valued at $13,500.

Video surveillance revealed that unknown suspects arrived in a white four door vehicle. The suspects are described as a white male with a beard and dark clothing. The second suspect appears to be a black male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and shorts.

Both suspects fled the area with the stolen property.
