Mobil Station Robbery in Fort Myers

On Monday, July 15, 2013, at approximately 11:57 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred at the Gladiolus Mobil, located at 11571 Gladiolus Drive, Fort Myers, Lee County, Florida.

Deputies responded to the call and met with the victim. During the preliminary investigation, deputies learned that a black male suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8” to 5’11” tall, approximately 145 to 155 lbs, wearing a black shirt, camouflage shorts and a mask.
