Circle K Robbery

On July 2, 2013 at 12:17 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a call in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Circle K convenience store, located at 11225 S. Cleveland Avenue.

Deputies responding to the call met with the victim.  During the preliminary investigation, deputies learned that a male suspect armed with a handgun approached the store clerk just outside the front doors.  Surveillance video shows the suspect enter the store and grab a display case containing lottery tickets before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5' 10" to 6 feet tall with a thin build.  The suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded long-sleeved short, dark pants and a dark colored mask.
