Deputies Searching for Armed Robber - Update #1

Robbery detectives with the Lee County Sheriff's Office are releasing surveillance pictures of the suspect that committed the armed robbery on February 24 at the Family Dollar Store located at 14561 Palm Beach Boulevard.

Lee County sheriff's detectives hope someone can shed light on an armed robbery that happened at a discount store on Palm Beach Boulevard.

Deputies were called to the Family Dollar Store located at 14561 Palm Beach Boulevard shortly after 7:00 p.m. on February 24.

The victim was working in the store when she was approached by a white male in his late teens to early twenties.  The suspect brandished a weapon and demanded money from the cash registers.  The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.  There were no injuries.

The suspect is approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and was wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and a dark colored bandana.
