The Lee County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind residents to always lock their vehicle doors and roll up their windows. Taking the time to lock doors and close windows could save you the hassle of being a victim of a vehicle burglary. In addition to locking doors, remember “out of sight, out of mind.” Do not leave valuables on the seats of your vehicle. Take the time to remove valuables and safely store them inside your home. If you see suspicious activity in your neighborhood, please call 9-1-1 or 477-1000.
If you have further questions regarding auto burglary prevention, please contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Unit at 477-1400. Thank you for your help in deterring crime.
