How can I get a copy of a Traffic Crash Report?

Answer:

Doc View provides online crash reports. A $5.00 Convenience fee is required. You will need to provide the driver's name, date of crash, and CFS # in order to retrieve the report. Reports are available to the individuals involved in the crash, as well as their insurance companies and legal representatives for the first 60 days following the crash. After 60 days, the reports are available to the general public.

Individuals may also come to Lee County Sheriff's Office Headquarters to retrieve a copy of their report without paying the convenience fee.
