The cost of a permit is $25.00
Do I have to pay a registration fee every year?
No, the registration fee is a one time fee.
What do I do if I move to a new location?
If you move you must call to deactivate your account and pay the registration fee for your new alarm location. You will receive a new sticker for the new location.
Do I have to register my alarm with the county and the city?
No, If you live within unincorporated Lee County you only need to register with LCSO, otherwise you will need to contact the agency within the jurisdiction that you live in and see if they register alarm systems.
If my alarm system is self installed, do I still need to register my alarm?
Yes, all alarms must be registered regardless of them being self installed.
Is it the responsibility of the Alarm Company to register my alarm system?
No, it is the alarm holders responsibility to register the system with us.
How do I get a new Sticker?
You can call the alarm unit at 239-477-1244 to request a new sticker due to damage.
What are the fines/fees for each alarm?

- 2nd - $25.00
- 3rd - $50.00
- 4th - $50.00
- 5th - $100.00
- 6th - $100.00
- 7th - $200.00
- 8th - $200.00
- 9 or more per permit year is $400.00
