2017 Volunteer of the Year

2017 Volunteer of the Year

V.O.I.C.E. member Albert Joseph is the 2017 Volunteer of the Year for his assistance he provided in apprehending a home invasion robbery suspect.

Al Joseph was working on August 1, 2017 when a home invasion robbery occurred on Mango St. The male subject was described as having dreads and a female was seen leaving the scene in a tan/ gold Jeep. Several nights later, while out to dinner with his wife and daughter, he saw a Jeep in the parking lot of a nearby hotel matching the description. As he looked closer the tag matched the bolo. He called in and gave the information to zone deputies. Robbery units went out and advised that it was the vehicle that left the scene of a home invasion.

Due to Joseph's keen observance, deputies were able to locate a suspect and put into evidence the Jeep, cocaine and a handgun.

We proudly name Albert Joseph as our Volunteer of the Year for 2017.
